Jason Momoa says Henry Cavill is 'absolutely not' done with Superman
Looks like Henry Cavill isn't hanging up the red cape yet.
Justice League co-star Jason Momoa spoke up on behalf of Cavill at the Aquaman premiere on Thursday, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I just talked to Henry... He's absolutely not [leaving the character]."
"He loves the character. He's not. One hundred percent," he added.
Rumours about Cavill leaving Superman surfaced in September with Warner Bros neither denying nor confirming the news, saying, "While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged,"
The studio claimed to have shifted their focus on a Supergirl film. From what Momoa says, maybe Cavill just might be playing a part in that!
Henry Cavill has yet to properly respond to the rumours, still having nothing but a very cryptic Instagram post of him with a Superman action figure. The actor will be seen next in the Netflix adaptation of The Witcher as Geralt.
