Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay finally comes to an end and fans on Twitter can't keep calm
This article contains spoilers for the finale of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay
Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay was a show that had a lot of people talking throughout its run and now that it's over, people can't stop discussing what happened in the finale. The last episode of the show aired on January 2.
Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay stars Mahira Khan, Usman Mukhtar and Kubra Khan. In the final episode of the show, Mehreen and Aswad get their "happily ever after" in the form of him finally supporting her. He takes her to Mashal's graves where they both speak to their deceased cousin and then to her nani's house to make amends. The marital peace between the two ends an entire season's worth of animosity.
While many have been disappointed in the past with the way the show dragged on, they did appreciate the way it highlighted the importance of parenting, family disputes and envy ruining the lives of young kids. The drama came to an end with Mehreen (Mahira) talking things out and finally resolving the problems between the families.
One Twitter user said the display of emotions, the characters and the complexity within a restricted space is the best thing about Pakistani dramas.
Another just simply adored Kubra as Mashal.
This user couldn't help but appreciate the writer for perfectly encapsulating the emotions of the characters.
Some complimented Mahira for her acting and the way she portrayed the character Mehreen in the drama.
Others talked about the scenes between Mehreen and her mother.
However, there were a few who were disappointed with Mehreen for forgiving Aswad after what he had done to her.
But despite all the ups and downs, fans are going to miss the show, as are the cast. The cast wrote a few words to bid farewell to their drama serial. In a BTS post on Instagram, Mukhtar wrote a long note where thanked each person by name and everyone involved, highlighting each aspect of what goes into the making of a television series.
Kubra took to her Instagram Stories to gush about the last episode being an "emotional" one for her. Mahira also wrote an Instagram post particularly about the scene with Kubra in the second last episode, calling it "the heart and soul of HKKST", describing why it meant so much to her.
If you have watched the episode, what did you think about it?
