The competition aimed to capture the stories of remarkable women and their remarkable journeys through the power of short films and photo-essays. With a chance to win over Rs1.5 million in prize money, participants from all walks of life passionately embraced the opportunity to showcase the extraordinary tales of women who dare. After months of anticipation, the winners have finally been announced at a ceremony held at Beach Luxury, and they have left us awe-inspired and moved.

Short Film Winner: “I Stood Among The Bodies” by Safar Ali Danish, Syed Hamed, Sana Sahar Changezi

Tugging at heartstrings and evoking deep emotions, “I Stood Among The Bodies” by Safar Ali Danish, Syed Hamed, and Sana Sahar Changezi emerged victorious in the short film category. In a mere 3 minutes, this powerful film navigates the poignant journey of a courageous woman who fearlessly confronts the harsh realities of her society. Through masterful storytelling and captivating visuals, the film resonates deeply, urging viewers to reflect on the strength and resilience of women in the face of adversity.

Photo-Essay Winners: “Jaal Ki Raani” by Beenish Sarfaraz, Luluwa Lokhandwala, Faiz Qazi, and “Shahzadi” by Maryam Jamali, Wazir Sheikh, Soomar Sheikh
