Hum Tum is an upcoming Ramazan special starring Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan as leads in a "2022, modern and Gen Z rendition of a hate to love story" and the teasers have been released. The two teasers set the scene for two couples — Mir and Ramsha, and Sarah Khan and Junaid Khan — both love stories requiring some work to get to the love part.

"Do opposites really attract or is it all a farce? Hum Tum [is] a modern, humorous and very ‘21st century’ hate to love story between two youngsters. Neha played by the gorgeous and talented Ramsha Khan and Adam played by the dashing Ahad Raza Mir encircles just that," Hum TV captioned the first teaser.

The caption posed a question at the end asking whether the two chemistry students will be "able to put their contradicting likes and dislikes aside for each other’s sake and develop chemistry of their own." It seems 28-year-old Mir and 27-year-old Ramsha will be playing college students.

The video featured light and humorous scenes where the protagonists poke fun at each other. They also had several random dance moments. It emulated the first half of the enemy-to-lovers trope where the two individuals are constantly irritated by the other and on the lookout for ways to one-up the other. Mir takes a jab at Ramsha for puckering up behind the wheel instead of driving and in a different scene, Ramsha pours tea over Mir's hand at the breakfast table.

The show is written and directed by the Chupke Chupke duo Saima Akram Chaudhry and Danish Nawaz. The second teaser describes it as "a 2022, modern and Gen Z rendition of a hate to love story". This features Junaid clearly head-over-heels for Sarah and trying to win her over by cooking the fitness freak low-calorie meals to get her attention.

The cast also includes actors Mohammed Ahmed Syed, Arjumand Rahim, Adnan Jaffar, Uzma Beg and Munazzah Arif.

Comedian Danish Ali posted pictures with Nawaz and Ramsha a little over a month ago, announcing that he'll be playing a role in the Ramazan special as well. "With the amazing Danish Nawaz on set of the TV drama I'm in Hum Tum, will be out first Ramzan," he captioned the post.

He posted a photo with Ramsha appreciating her in the caption. "Ramsha Khan you are the coolest. Thanks for making my first day on set so much fun! #HumTum," he wrote.

Let me guess story revolves around a Bahu and Saas. Saas is the aggressor and Bahu is the victim and this drags on for many episodes

The original is always the best. Chupke Chupke was iconic, and subsequent comedies will be more or less imitating its style of funnies. Hmm...lets c.

If Ahad is there it will be at least a good project! Like father like Son.

Someone must dramatise Shafiq ur Rahman's stories in humor. It would be a great service to the new generation!
