It's been a year of lavish weddings. What kicked off with Virushka back in 2017 had a bit of a domino effect; Sonam Ki Shaadi, DeepVeer followed and by the time NickYanka rolled around, we thought we'd be getting a breather from the big, fat, insanely grand desi wedding.

Boy, were we wrong. India's richest family didn't come to play.

Mukesh Ambani left no stone unturned for his daughter, Isha's pre-wedding festivities with Anand Piramal; Bollywood celebs were flown into Udaipur to put on a show (some as — wait for this — backup dancers) with the bride and groom and if that wasn't enough, attendees also included Hillary Clinton, Nick Jonas and y'know, Beyoncé Knowles, who was also there to perform.

Our mind is frankly blown at how OTT everything about this is and Twitter is also having a hard time processing ALL. THIS. WEALTH.

Indians have deep pockets. According to PWC, by 2050 Indian economy will be worth 44 trillion Dollars , second to China. By then Mukesh Ambani's son will get the entire Hollywood for his daughter's wedding.

Mukesh Ambani bought an aeroplane for his wife on her 45th birthday.

Lavish weddings are not unheard in this land. Everyone spends according to their wealth. We're talking about Ambani's here, he also has right to do what we do according to our capacity. We shouldn't be jealous of him because his capacity is many many many many many........ times more than normal rich people. Rather we should cherish Achievement of this family. They achieved this only in two generations (rather in single generation only as Dhirubhai Ambani made it to top from modest back ground)
