Colin Farrell singlehandedly helps Dumbo in the live-action flick's trailer
We've been on board the Dumbo reboot since the teaser revealed that Tim Burton has re-imagined the tale.
The director has taken the story in a different direction with Colin Farrell and two children helping out Dumbo rather than Timothy the mouse. But that means we don't really know the plot and how the story will unfold. Until now.
The trailer for the Disney reboot is out and the story may be different but the emotions are the same.
Tim Burton's Dumbo shows the young elephant's tale along with the story of the circus he is in. Danny Devito plays the Ringmaster who wishes to have his circus make headlines while Colin Farrell is a one-armed circus worker who discovers Dumbo with his two children.
The two children take the role of Timothy from the original animated movie, supporting little Dumbo when he is being mocked by others and also when his mother is taken away from him. Yes, we cried during that scene, it's too tragic.
Along with beautiful visuals showing circus performances, Tim Burton has kept many easter eggs from the original movie, with Pink Elephants making a cameo and Dumbo meeting his caged mother... the emotion was too much and the song didn't help at all.
Dumbo is slated for release in March 2019.
