Armeena Rana Khan is in Jordan right now helping Syrian refugees

The actress has joined hands with the Human Rights Foundation on her mission to help war-ridden families

Armeena Rana Khan wants to leave the world a better place.

The actress had recently announced that she'd be joining hands with the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) to help Syrian refugees and she's making good on that promise; Khan is currently in Jordan and has been posting updates on her social media frequently so that people who have donated to the cause can see where their money is going.

The actress visited homes of refugees to hear their accounts first-hand:

The Janaan star also revealed on Instagram that her mother was the inspiration behind all of this.

“I started this Syrian journey with my mom’s prayers. It is HER dream that I am living right now and her wish that I am fulfilling. It is such a sweet thing and I wanted to share her messages. My heart swells when I read these. This is why I think mothers are so sacred and a lot of these Syrian kids have lost theirs. This is where you come in, you guys are amazing human beings, you’ve helped me put a smile on these children’s faces even if it is for a bit,” she shared.

Armeena has raised £9,671.84 so far (her target is £10,000):

The directive is, never allow your left hand to know what your right hand is giving out in charity.

Firstly kudos for doing what the rest of the country will never do, ie action as opposed to batein Secondly no harm in talking about charity. It inspires people to contribute. Losers will be jealous but who cares

When its angelina jolie, everyone is in awe of her services to humanity.. when its a pakistani celebrity, you start giving lectures !! Such double standards! At least apreciate what she is doing!! I havent seen pakistani celebrities esp female ones active on humanitarian work, she is one!! Good job, Armeena!!

She has to prove it to people where there donations are going so let her be. At least she's doing it unlike the most of us.
