I don't want Taimur to be looked upon as a star kid: Kareena Kapoor
Taimur Ali Khan is one of the most popular babies on social media - people can't get enough of him (and his cuteness) and the media cannot stop obsession over him.
But unlike most celebrity parents, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan do not seem to mind the media attention their lil one attracts.
Speaking with Filmfare, the actor said she understands that her son is a paparazzi favourite, "but I just don’t want him to be looked upon as a star kid. I want him to grow up as normally as possible. I want to let him be just the way he is."
Aware of the stardom that comes with celeb-hood, Saif and Kareena had already decided how they'd raise their son.
"When I was pregnant, both Saif Ali Khan and I had spoken about this and how we’d handle it. He was like there’s nothing to hide. He’s our child and this is the way it’s going to be. He’s going to be photographed, so be it," said the Udta Punjab actor.
"It’s convenient for stars when they want to be clicked... like at events while putting on makeup, wearing an outfit… and so on. So why hide your child? We’re pretty open and clear about it."
