Raees team is upset that Mahira couldn't attend the film's success party

Raees is inching towards the INR100 crore club and to celebrate the film's success the team threw a grand party in Mumbai last night. Unfortunately, the only person missing was Mahira Khan.

And the Pakistani actor's absence was felt by the team.

The film's director Rahul Dholakia gave her a special shout-out to Mahira on Twitter.

And Mahira promptly replied:

In a Twitter session with her fans, Mahira's co-star Sunny Leone, who featured in Raees item song 'Laila Main Laila', consoled a Mahira fan from India and praised the actor.

In response, Mahira Khan tweeted, "Missed everyone so much tonight."

The film cast and crew weren't the only ones upset about the missing Humsafar star. Mahira fans felt she deserved to be a part of her film's success as well:

When film flops, the producers throw success party to hide failure. Same is true with ADHM. It's a flop movie. Dangal is still doing better while Raees and Kaabil full flop show.

This is copied from main stream Indian media "Kaabil and Raees are struggling to touch Rs 100-crore mark. Both films were released five days ago. But despite Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees showing initial momentum, the film clearly fails to live up to the expectations in terms of box office numbers. All the hype surrounding this gangster-drama seems to be falling apart with each passing day. This at least proves that the presence of SRK is no longer the sole factor for writing the narrative of the film. There has to be more than that. The audience has got very little patience with bad films but also an eagerness to watch ‘original’ content. That’s where Dangal succeeds."

But, I have seen the film on media-download and the film failed miserably on all parameters of entertainment. It is just a useless street urchin (don-hood) film with no any lesson in the end, except an illegal execution by police in the wild as usual.

Brilliant movie, contrarty to what a lot of indians are saying, Mahira Khan acted pretty well for the role she was given. and as usual SRK and Nawazzudin rocked it

BTW Mahira khan was below average in the movie. Raaees is a FLOP by Indian standards and is struggling to make 100 crores. Usually 100 cr is done in 3 day weekend. Same with Kabil which is struggling to make 100cr mark. Both production houses will recover their investment but distributers will lose heavily.

She did a horrible job in Raees, it was like no emotions in her or something she was so dull. Sorry but she had the opportunity of a lifetime and she did not perform up to par. She doesn't deserve to be in bollywood.

Raees is one the most brilliant movies without a doubt, except for time of its release, when sectarian hostility is at its peak. I appreciate SRK for his courage & passion despite unfavourable circumstances, 'cause he is a patriot, passionate & delightful artist with his 30 years of dedication & hardwork with film industry. Ignore the negative comments below they all are right wingers they tried their best to spread negativity about Raees in India but all their attempts failed film has earned 100 crore on Monday it's already in profit zone within 6 days of its release. Film is going to release in Pakistan this week so they are here to spread negativity about it.A gentleman here commented that movies cross 100 crores within 3 days for him I want to say 2 movies released on same day affects business due to sharing of screens between both films.Only Khan movies earn 100 crore in 3 days Kumar/devgan films earn it in 10 days.So haters stop spreading negativity about the film you'll fail miserably here too.

Gr8 film and top notch acting. commercially could have made more but thats expected as when 2 big releases go head to head they divide the profit. To join the 200-300 crore club u need to go solo without competition like sultan and dangal did.
