Veere Di Wedding will be India's first real chick flick, says Kareena Kapoor

Bebo is all set to start shooting Veere Di Wedding, an all-girls movie being produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, among others.

“This is probably India’s real chick flick. It’s about four girls, four friends, who come together for my (character’s) wedding. It’s really interesting and fun. You watch it all the time in the west, but nobody really has the courage to really make a chick flick here," shares the Ki and Ka leading lady.

"Nobody talks about just women. Even when there are 4 tracks, there are 2 boys and 2 girls; There's never been a complete girl power script," she adds.

“With changing times and cinema today, I think it’s easily done because people want to see a film like this (chick flick). It’s strong and amazing, quite empowering.”

Now isn't that something to look forward to for movie night, ladies?
