Everything we know about Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's 'wedding' so far
Indian actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are all anyone can talk about these days when it comes to Bollywood. The rumoured couple's wedding festivities are apparently starting on December 7 and preparations for their big fat Indian wedding are reportedly well underway — preparations that include mysterious Falguni Shane Peacock boxes, NDA contracts and secret codes.
While Katrina and Kaushal are still quiet about all the hullabaloo around their rumoured wedding — with Kaif denying the wedding rumours back in October — that hasn't stopped the Indian media from snooping around and getting the low down on wedding preparations and events. According to Times of India, the couple's wedding festivities will start from December 7 with a sangeet, followed by a mehndi on December 8 and then nuptials on December 9. There will also be a reception on December 10.
The wedding is reportedly going to be held at Rajasthan five-star luxury heritage hotel Six Senses Fort Hotel, Jaipur and they have apparently booked the entire resort for themselves.
Sources told Pinkvilla that Kaif and Kaushal opted to be legally wed in court ahead of the wedding festivities. The court marriage was due to take place on either December 3 or 4 in Mumbai, attended by the families of both the bride and groom. They would be married under the Special Marriage Act of 1954 meant for inter-caste marriages in India. After the court marriage, the couple were to fly off to Rajasthan ahead of their wedding events.
Themes of the sangeet, mehndi and wedding
The bride and groom apparently really went out when it comes to the themes. Pinkvilla reported that after meeting with several event planners, Kaif and Kaushal decided the theme of the mehndi will be "gold, beige, ivory and white". For the sangeet, the couple settled on the theme "bling" and for the wedding, it is "pastel sorbet".
Reportedly, there will be performances by the couple and several Bollywood stars at their sangeet.

There are also rumours that Kaif and Kaushal have given secret codes to wedding guests to keep their wedding private. Pinkvilla reports the secret codes will be made based on the alphabets in the bride and groom's names. Guests will only be able to enter the wedding event premises by providing their respective code.
