Sarah Jessica Parker kills it in a lehenga choli on the set of the Sex and the City reboot
American actor Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and The City series wore a lehenga choli by an Indian designer in the show and it's a whole look!
The 10-episode Sex and The City revival is called And Just Like That and features the same characters from the hit show (minus Samantha) navigating their friendship in their 50s.
Photographer Christopher Peterson posted a video of Parker in the outfit while filming for the series in New York City.
She was wearing a design by Indian design house Falguni Shane Peacock from their Mon Amour Jag Niwas collection.
The brand described it as "exquisitely handcrafted, red-based, multicoloured lehenga with intricate embroidery of silk threads".
She also carried a velvet potli in her hand and had bright purple and red flowers in her hair.
Carrie Bradshaw — Parker's character on the show — is a fashionista and has become quite the style icon over the years. Fans of the show are eating up the leaked pictures of her outfits and can't wait to see what she wears in the series. In fact, there's an entire Instagram account set up for And Just Like That costumes and it has almost 100,000 followers.
There's still a while to go, though, as the show is set to release in December on HBO Max. We can't wait to see the show and are already intrigued by Parker's looks. Does this mean Carrie will be attending a desi wedding?
