Pakistan’s entertainment industry seems to be moving onto anthologies, and one new addition to the list is upcoming movie, Teri Meri Kahaniyaan, comprising three different stories with a star-studded cast.

The film will feature the combined directorial vision of renowned directors Nabeel Qureshi, Nadeem Baig and Marina Khan to create the anthology, which will feature intense drama, a romance story and a horror comedy. The Distribution Club (IMGC) movie will also be a creative collaboration by storytellers Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Vasay Chaudhry, Ali Abbas Naqvi and Basit Naqvi.

But the most interesting thing about it the film is who’s starring in it.

Mehwish Hayat & Wahaj Ali

The first story is an intense drama directed by Baig and will star Mehwish Hayat and Wahaj Ali. This will mark Hayat’s third collaboration with Baig. It’ll be the first time the actors will be seen together on-screen. The movie will have an “intense storyline” and the writer has yet to be finalised.

Sheheryar Munawar & Ramsha Khan-Zahid Ahmed & Amna Ilyas

The second story will mark veteran actor Khan’s directorial debut. Actor Vasay Chaudhry, who is also known for his screenwriting including Jawani Phir Nai Ani, has penned the script. Two fresh pairs — Sheheryar Munawar and Ramsha Khan, and Amna Ilyas and Zahid Ahmed will be featured as the leads in the story.

Salman Saqib & Hira Mani

The third story in this anthology is a horror-comedy written and directed by Qureshi. Real-life couple Salman Saqib (Mani) and Hira Mani will be starring as leads in this story. Mani was last seen in Money Back Guarantee, which also featured a small cameo by his wife. He also starred in the horror-comedy Lafangey last Eidul Azha.

The film is produced by See Prime, which is primarily known for its award-winning short film Prince Charming on YouTube. Seemeen Naveed, the CEO of SeePrime, said in the Press Release, “It’s been a highly exciting time bringing such a high-stakes project together, but the response from the public is truly heartening. The anticipation is almost palpable, and it’s the same from our side. The silver screen will have never seen such a movie before”.

The star-studded movie is set to hit the silver screen on Eidul Azha.
