British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is facing a vote of no confidence from within his Conservative party and its giving us and other Pakistanis some major deja vu. I mean, didn't we just go through this too?

Well, the Pakistani internet certainly remembers and is charged up with its never-ending supply of jokes.

For some, Boris is just a British Imran Khan.

But there's only one Imran.

Others saw it through Imran's eyes.

There were some 'benefits'. Imitation is, after all, the sincerest form of flattery.

Some had jokes about boosting exports.

Imran may have some advice for Boris.

Examples are being followed?

They're buds, after all.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if this just a case of partial deja vu.

No matter British PM Boris Johnson may face vote of no confidence in the British Parliament, but in case if vote of no confidence is passed against him, Boris Johnson will step down gracefully, but will not start showing blank piece of paper in the rally to pose the same as a cable or any foreign conspiracy that is being hatched against him by any country. Imran Khan played very cheap politics in Pakistan after he was ousted from the government, but Boris Johnson is a very sober man. He will deliver a farewell speech and will welcome his successor. Boris Johnson is not going to say that British nuclear assets are at stake and will not give an interview to BBC TV as Imran Khan did indicated in an interview with Pakistani BoL News TV Channnel. If Boris Johnson will leave the Parliament still then he will be having millions of people as his supporters including few political parties and will not be left alone as Imran Khan have been left isolated by rest of the political parties.

Very interesting. Let’s see how a matured democracy deal with the saga. But in Pak a pleasant surprise did comes, Speaker NA has rejected the resignations of PTI legislators. Now they are expected to sit in budget sessions, and take part in Parliament. Their perks, funds, all restored. They can easily get back their ran aways of other coalition parties, join them, for another no confidence motion. This time against PM Shahbaz. Quite interesting. That ok. All fights inside Parliament, not on streets. A new but strong genuine opposition leader must take the charge.

Just wait and hear in the UK what will be said. 'A foreign conspiracy was there all along to renove Boris Johnson.' It is just like the Democrats loosing bittery in the 2016 presidential elections was a Russian conspiracy according to Hillary Clinton. Trump loosing 2020 presidential elections was a conspiracy as per his croonies and himself. IK loosing the 2022 No-Confidence Motion against him was a foreign conspiracy, with 'American hand work visible clearly.' Now Boris Johnson loosing a no-confidence motion is going to be called a conspiracy with a scapegoat, most likely the US or Russia by the British press as well as public.

British PM Boris Johnson have won vote of confidence in British Parliament. The summary of his success story is as follows: ●Conservative MPs have voted in favour of Boris Johnson remaining as PM by 211 to 148; ●The result means Johnson has survived the confidence vote brought by his own party; ●The win comes despite a substantial rebellion by his own members of parliament; ●Johnson says the government can now "move on" following the "decisive" result; ●Under the current rules of the Conservative Party, the PM cannot be challenged in a leadership vote again for 12 months; ●The confidence vote follows anger over Sue Gray's report detailing lockdown rule-breaking in Downing Street. Mr Boris Johnson must have done some good work that he survived the vote of no confidence in British Parliament as he was supported by majority of MP's. In case of Imran Khan no MNA supported him but his own MNA's left Imran Khan in lurch as during his 3 years and 7 months rule he failed to deliver.

Watch and learn from British democracy, while not perfect, it should teach Imran to step down gracefully and sit in the opposition benches, and that's how you make a weak democracy strong. Not by rioting and blocking streets.

the vote of no confidence against Boris was within his party, opposition didn't tried to do lotabazi by buying out any Mps , PMLN and PPP their leadership has not faced any contest from within the party for so many years but it is a dynasty in their leadership , Boris father, brother and sister all are in politics but they will not take Boris place , Boris has appointed competent ministers in his cabinet not to appease anybody to remain in power, in Boris cabinet or even in party there is no one against whom any criminal case is pending let alone to have criminal record whereas all the cases of MPs from PMLN and PPP have been put on back burner or thrown out, Boris was on tour of Cumbria and he shortened his tour to be back in Westminster because of Ukraine crisis whereas Bilawal and others were on foreign tours when Pakistan was and still is going through internal turmoil, Boris home minister has not given a threat to anybody, Boris has allowed all media channels to air their views

The last time this deja vu happend was when a picture of heads of state from Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Egypt and Palestine were assassinated who had been part of the Lahore OIC Summit in 1974. Zulfiqar A Bhutto, Moammar Ghaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Anwar Sadat and Yasir Arafat were all assassinated. This picture strangely may not be what is there i.e. a mere casual pic between two heads of state from Pakistan and UK. It is a reminder that if history is to repeat itself, then both can be removed using a conspiracy but the British people are not fooled. Leaders come from the people and the leaders of the UK are highly educated. This may well be a conspiracy by the US democrats to remove Boris Johnson who was pro-Brexit whereas the democrats were anti-Brexit.
