2022 graduates, add Ameer Gilani to the list! The actor just graduated from Harvard Law School and he has thousands of supportive fans celebrating his milestone.

He shared a celebratory post on Sunday, donning his graduation cap and gown, and adding photos with his degree, friends, family — and even a gavel! After years of hard work, he certainly has a lot to celebrate.

"Smiles all around! Alhamdulillah... Nothing beats the feeling of being surrounded by happy and positive people. To mama, baba, Ranya and all my lovely friends — those I could celebrate with and those who have prayed from a distance. Love and prayers for all of you," he wrote in the caption.

Gilani also added a recipe for success in his caption, in case anyone was wondering. "Some capability, lots of great teachers, a lot of hard work and more than that, everyone's prayers. Most of all, God's grace."

His Sabaat costar and friend Mawra Hocane, who is a law graduate herself, dropped down in the comment section to congratulate him on his "brilliant achievement" and ask for a treat, as friends do. Gilani thanked her for the prayers and help, and promised to make plans when he's back.

Actors pursing further education sets a good example for those who view them as role models. It also opens up people to the idea that they can go after what they want, no matter what career path they're on at the moment. Congratulations to Gilani!

Heartiest congratulations to Ameer Gilani on graduating from a prestigious law school Harvard. Just need to ask you whether you will pursue your career in acting or will you be now be pursuing to practice law since you have obtained the degree in law.

I am surprised to see young talented actor going for a career of very short life span in acting, despite having brilliant career in other professions? Examples are, Rahat Kazmi, Hamza Ali Abbasi, etc.

@M. Saeed it’s passion, they probably like acting and filmmaking. But at least if all fails they have their degrees and experience to support them

Law is a degree which is useful only if you practice in a court of law and other than that its useless and american law has no relevance in pakistan so if a law degree holder from usa comes to pakistan he is useless professionally but still a good investment for rich elite folks than buying fancy cars better to get degrees from ivy institutes like harvard, oxford etc.
