The Tesla Motors CEO wants to promote free speech on the bird networking app.

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk is purchasing Twitter for $44 billion and Twitter users have a range of reactions — all that fall under the meme category, of course.

Calling Twitter a “digital town square” where important matters are discussed, Musk posted his comments in a tweet, promising to make Twitter better by enhancing features and eliminating spam bots.

His second statement was the star of the show, though. Musk spoke about “free speech” and how that is what he’s promoting. “It’s very important for there to be an inclusive arena for free speech,” he said during an interview this month at a TED conference. “A good sign as to whether there is free speech is: is someone you don’t like allowed to say something you don’t like? If that is the case, then we have free speech.”

Netizens have been mostly amused but some are unhappy with the turn in events since it may signify the return of former American president Donald Trump whose account has been banned on the networking site. Twitter users have still managed to take it lightly and churn some memes out of it.

Manifestation is real guys!

Baby Musk X Æ A-12 had to make an appearance in the memes.

Some Twitter users have special requests for Mr Musk.

The Tesla CEO must teach us the art of decision-making!

That’s how billionaires roll.

Gotta lay low! If you know, you know.

Is it a coincidence Musk owns companies starting with the letter T?

Insert thinking emoji.

Whatever the update in global events, you can always count on Twitter users to get some laughs out of it!

A big nuisance of "Free-speech" in the making, to add lethal additions to the curse of Islamophobia!

@M. Saeed If someone asks questions, that is not any kind of phobia.
