It's been four years since the wildly popular TV show Suno Chanda aired and clearly the show still has fans who remember the show fondly. Germany-based content creator Silky (who goes by the name Sedoso on social media) recently recreated a scene from Suno Chanda, lip-syncing to a dialogue by actor Nadia Afgan's much-loved character Shahana Batool.

Suno Chanda starred Afgan, Iqra Aziz, Farhan Saeed, Farhan Ally Agha, Samina Ahmad, Adnan Shah Tipu, Sohail Sameer, Nabeel Zuberi and Mashal Khan. While each actor gave their own spin to their characters, Afgan's take on Shahana Batool became quite famous, thanks to her acting and stellar dialogue delivery in Punjabi. The character's dialogues spread like wildfire on social media at the time — with many netizens lip-syncing to them on apps like TikTok and Dubsmash.

Silky lip-synced to a well known Shahana dialogue in a video posted on Instagram on March 28, and the video received a lot of love from Pakistani drama aficionados and Afgan herself.

Afgan commented "aww" under the video, which the content creator pinned and responded to with a heart emoji.

Silky has also recreated a scene from the popular Feroze Khan-starrer Aye Musht-e-Khaak, a drama currently running on Geo TV.

Suno Chanda's story revolves around Arsalan (Farhan Saeed) and Ajiya (Iqra Aziz) who are polar opposites. Arsalan is a laid back, traditional Punjabi munda who has no interest in bettering himself. Ajiya, on the other hand, is an ambitious, career-oriented young woman who is desperate to study business in London. Forced into a nikah at a young age by their dying grandfather, they fight like cat and dog, desperate to break the chains that bind them.

As the date for their rukhsati looms they push one another to break the marriage off. Their unrelenting bickering is largely ignored by their family and their parents happily plan for the final reception. In a last-ditch attempt at freedom, they put aside their differences and hatch a number of plots, manipulating their respective parents into hating each other. While their plan is successful, Arsalan begins to wonder if he can really live without Ajiya?

I wish Pakistani actors and actresses try their best to stick to their culture and morals since they are popular around the world. I wish they present our culture to the world instead of blindly following the west. Best of luck to Pakistani actors.
