Actors Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain recently revealed their son's face to the public in the most social media parent way possible — they made an Instagram account for him.

The account was announced by his loving parents on social media. Aziz reposted a picture of her son on her Instagram account and wished him a "happy five months". "Meet Kabir Hussain," she wrote in the caption. "Our hearts are full of love and we thought it’s time to share it with you all!"

Hussain also took to Instagram Stories to share his son's account. "Kabir Hussain is on Instagram," he posted. "Follow him."

Both the parents refrained from showing Kabir's face on social media previously. "I would have posted the picture today, but the child's grandmother is the obstacle," Hussain had shared on Instagram. The reason behind Aziz's mother's reluctance could be because of superstition — something that isn't new to us as Pakistanis. However, it could be something as simple as not wanting a child subjected to public scrutiny.

Aziz and Hussain aren't the only Pakistani public figures who made an Instagram account for their infant. Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari also made one for her son Mir Hakim Mahmood Chaudhry in November and the account is regularly updated with adorable pictures of the baby.
