Here's how Umair Jaswal celebrated his birthday this year

Giving a shout-out to his 'begum', Sana Javed, he wrote: "Thank you for making this day and this year special."

Birthdays during a pandemic have been memorable in their own way; celebrations have become small-scale, guest lists a lot more leaner and everyone just seems to be reflecting a lot more on the little things, what's really important.

Umair Jaswal, who tied the knot earlier this year in October, has a lot to be thankful for.

Sharing a photo posing with his birthday cake, he wrote, "Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes. ALHAMDULLILAH for everything, friends, family, loved ones and all of you amazing souls! Your love and belief pushes me to do great things. Sending my love and prayers to all of you. Remember me in your prayers."

He concluded his caption with a shoutout to his wifey, Sana Javed aka "begum" as he lovingly called her: "Thank you for making this day and this year special."

Javed also wished him on her social media account:

"Happy Birthday to my most precious one. You mean the world to me. Shine like the star you are!" she shared.

Aww, aren't they the sweetest newlyweds! Team Images wishes the birthday boy a good one and the happy couple even more marital bliss!

@Laila mercy. This is not a honeymoon scene from any point of view. These are photographs of a happy couple-this s all. It is surprising that normal photographs of happy-healthilly happy people can be construed like this.

@Ali Mehdi even if not married-this is his personal choice. I am just happy that these two people on this planet are happy.

@Ghaznavi why you call an artist a "Mirasi"? Do you think yours is a civilized attitude?

@Chrís Dăn no, you misunderstand. They are newly wed. The initial period of a marriage or relationship is referred to the honeymoon period. It has nothing to do with whether they are on honeymoon or not. It refers to the initial phase of bliss, respect, love, infatuation, intensity, sexual/chemical/physical/emotional attraction, wanting to spend time together 24/7, being absorbed and very considerate. Slowly this tends to wear off when routine life starts and that's when problems ensue. So I wished them eternal honeymoon period, which means I am wishing them bliss now and forever. Many couple counsels and couples/marriage psychology literature have covered the honeymoon phase of relationships. It is when people start taking each other or the other for granted that problems arise. In order to make it last you need to keep intact this commitment, attraction, can't keep your hands off of each other, devotion, wanting to be together 24/7, and work on it every day. Like watering a plant.
