Boys will no longer be boys, they will be held accountable for their actions.

In doing his part, ace designer Fahad Hussayn has rereleased his fashion campaign, 'Guddi Wang' and this one does not feature Mohsin Abbas Haider; the decision comes after the actor was accused of domestic abuse by his wife, Fatema Sohail.

Hussayn has removed all the scenes the actor was in to show solidarity with survivors of domestic violence.

Talking to Images, the designer shared “This project was very close to my heart. The video even features my bhabis, nieces and nephews in the bus with Mohsin Abbas Haider and Sadaf Kanwal. I have personally dealt with abuse in my life. I am strongly against it and it went against my values for my work to be associated with a man who is allegedly an abuser. Also, I sell weddings and having him in the video was even damaging to the brand.”

The video also originally included Sadaf Kanwal although now her scenes have also been deleted from the reel in order to maintain continuity.

Last week, Fatema came forward to accuse the actor of cheating, beating her up, even while she was 3 months pregnant and taking Rs 5 million from her which he has not given back yet.

An FIR was registered against Mohsin under Section 406 (criminal breach of trust) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Pakistan Penal Code and included charges of hurling life threats on the complainant; he is currently out on anticipatory bail and the next court hearing is scheduled for 5 August.

Nice! Finally Pak society is waking up and wants to do what is right. It is about time. Pakistanis need to stop feeling bad for criminals because people need to understand that feeling bad for criminals emboldens criminals and increase crime. Of course every criminal after he/she commits crime feel bad about it but peoples message to these criminals should be that don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Criminals will not/never stop unless they are punished and people will not be afraid of committing if they know they will not be punished. Remember it is the punishment that deters the criminal mind not the religion or Ammi Abba or relatives etc but only fear of going to jail stops the crime, period. on the other note, I will bad for Sadaf Kanwal.

According to Fatema : “ 3-4 days after wedding I was slapped on face “ why Qula / divorce was not instigated? The problem seems it was not happy marriage both expectations and reality was like railway line : running parallel but not meeting . If divorced or Qula was instigated long ago : both have avoided this media circus and two children have been saved from this horrific future- now those 2 kids will face horror life that’s awaits them :

Time to learn abuse of any kind will not be tolerated in a civil society. Every action, has a reaction! Educating about prevention of abuse should also be given the same time in the media !

Anytime domestic abuse comes all the peers , family or people whom don’t even know comes forward to support woman. But how come you will support a story without knowing the facts n all? Listen to both sides of the story then talk about it.
