Raise your hands if Chucky from Child's Play scarred your childhood and forever made you wary of dolls.
Well, we've got some bad news: he's back with a vengeance and even smarter than before.
The new Chucky has been voiced by Mark Hamill who sounds eerily similar to original Chucky voice actor Brad Dourif. In the reboot, we see that the doll's a home control device, called Buddi just like the Alexa but we soon learn that he can pair with a lot of other smart devices too, like home appliances to cars, even drones! Now we all know technology is scary but the original Chucky doll was possessed by an evil serial killer. This one just seems to have a sinister glitch.
That said, we've still got high hopes for this one; clearly, Chucky's bringing out the big knives!
Other than Hamill, the cast includes Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, Gabriel Bateman and David Lewis among others. From the producers of IT comes a modern reimagining of the horror classic. Child’s Play hits theaters June 21.
