Back in March last year, Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour.

But we've got some good news. The actor has received treatment and is back in action, shooting his next film, Angrezi Medium with Kareena Kapoor. But it goes without saying, it's been a tough year for Khan.

His wife, Sutapa took to Facebook to talk about what their family has been through, calling it the "longest year of our life":

She took out time to thank all their well-wishers for their support and prayers during the time of Irrfan's recovery as they take "baby steps back to work, to life".

According to Hindustan Times, Angrezi Medium is based around the idea of Irrfan's daughter desiring a foreign university education for herself. The film will reportedly release in 2020.
