Game of Thrones drops teaser for season 8 and it's literally a battle between fire and ice
Game of Thrones fans rejoice!
HBO finally dropped the teaser for the final season of the hit show and we see a visual display for the song of fire and ice.
From the teaser we can see the big battle approaching, one we've been all anxious for. On one side we the the direwolf of the Starks and the dragon of the Targaryans freezing over and on the other side we see the lion of the Lannisters entrapped in blazing fire.
The fire and ice spread towards each on the stone table and as the two clash, a very stone-like structure errupts, which we believe to be the legendary dragonglass. The teaser itself is titled Dragonstone so that makes us believe it more. Yes, there's a lot there, and we are here for it.
Game of Thrones season 8 will have six episodes, making it the shortest season of the series but promises to have longer episodes. We don't mind, we always want more!
The final season is set to release in April 2019.
