A student of Bahria College Islamabad has came forward with her #MeToo story, saying that she and about 80 of her batchmates were sexually harassed by the examiner of their biology practical last week.

"Our examiner [...] groped almost 80 students and passed sleazy comments," she wrote in her Facebook post, in which she describes her own experience of being inappropriately touched by the examiner. Several other students have corroborated her story with their own experiences since then.

Bahria College Principal Iqbal Javaid has acknowledged the reports and said that the matter has been reported to the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), reports Dawn.com. It remains unclear what action is being taken by the Federal Board.

The student's post has elicited shock and a demand for swift action against the examiner:

However, not all responses have been positive, with some raising doubts about the veracity of the student's account:

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.

Very shameful, if found guilty should be given exemplary punishment.

Investigate if you must, but please do not brush aside this issue. I am a male and was sexually assaulted when I was 14 by a driver. I carried the impact with me for almost 13 years. My whole life was affected due to that one afternoon. I was afraid to hug or touch hands even with my male friends till I was 24 or so. My wife still tells me that I do not have the same sparkle in my eyes as I had in old photographs. She stills wonder what the reason might be. (I have not shared this ordeal with anyone). It is a sad reality that such predators exist in our society and they are very good at hiding their crimes. I can understand the pain and powerlessness felt by the kid from Behria College. But I can not explain it. I hope no one has to endure this feeling ever.

@Amm you are not a victim bro. You are a survivor and that should make the sparkle in your eyes more bright and the smile on your face more happy. Walk with your head held high. These worthless dead burdons on eartv should be ashamed. Not you. Bravo for standing up and facing it.

This is so disgusting,I am terrified, appalled and ashamed as a retired Professor.I can feel students pain and personal trauma.Teachers are role models for students. This examiner must be crazy. The matter must be thoroughly investigated and person concerned,if proven guilty must be terminated and sent to jail.
