Mohsin Abbas Haider is gearing up for a new TV drama
Mohsin Abbas Haider is reuniting with director Ali Hassan for a new serial.
The actor previously worked with the director on drama serial Muqabil and now his second drama is with the same team.
"I've teamed up again with Ali Hassan. It's a return of team Muqabil so I hope it's as good as that," Mohsin tells Images.
Mohsin explains that the serial has no title yet as the shooting has just begun. "We do have a working title Meri Jaan but it might change," he says.
About his character, Mohsin reveals, "I play a young man who aspires to go abroad. He (my character) is a one-wheeler who plans on going abroad and getting married there but complications arise when Saboor Aly and Sawera Nadeem enter the scene."
Apart from Saboor Aly and Sawera Nadeem, the cast also includes "Asma Abbas who plays my mother, Qavi Khan, Nor ul Hassan and Saheen Apa," the actor said without disclosing more information.
"An interesting thing about this drama is my look, which I've experimented with. I've never had centre-parted hair onscreen so we're trying that out and also this will be the first time in my life that I'll be wearing lenses. I don't even know how to put on a pair of contacts and when these guys (from makeup) help put on my lenses for me it's a very funny scene."
The serial does not have a release date at the moment but until then we can just wait to see Mohsin Abbas in Na Maloom Afraad 2!
