Priyanka Chopra will play a single mom in her second Hollywood film
Priyanka Chopra is getting quite comfortable in Hollywood.
Her debut film Baywatch has barely made it to the screens, and it looks like she's already bagged another Hollywood film.
Chopra is being cast in the film A Kid Like Jake directed by Silas Howard (who has helmed the series Transparent), reports Deadline. She will star alongside Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Claire Danes (Homeland) and Octavia Spencer (Hidden Figures).
While reports say that Chopra is still in talks for the film, the producer has already called it!

The film is the story of Greg (Jim Parsons) and Alex (Claire Danes), a couple who are trying to get their son Jake into private schools in New York. After they discover they cannot afford the fees of these institutions, they try to peg their son as 'a gender-variant' (he prefers Cinderella to GI Joe) to try and apply for school scholarships.
Chopra is said to star as Amal, their friend and a newly single mom who is also grappling with the school system along with her love life.
