If there is one thing you should not do, is argue with Bhabi aka Shaniera Akram. She will not only win but also teach you a lesson in return.

It started earlier in the day today when she saw a mother driving while feeding her child on her lap. Furious, she immediately tweeted her sentiments on the matter.

One person replied saying, welcome to Pakistan... because we've accepted the outlandish behaviour in our country and become immune to it.

But Shaniera was not going to hold back, nor was she going to take this matter lightly. Her Twitter account was flooded with tweets on road safety:

Soon, her rant started heading towards a social cause...

...one which her fans readily started supporting.

And so, her public message started.

Till one Pakistani called her tweets useless.

Is he really suggesting that Shaniera's 103k Twitter followers aren't worth reaching out to?

Well, Shaniera being as awesome as she is, taught him a lesson he'll remember. Let's hope this message reaches others with the same mindset.

Is she awesome or is she awesome?

thank you so much shaneria! pakistanis love you too! notice though folks ,that the two names associated with negative comments mentioned in this article were both indian names.solanki can be a pakistani name but is associated with the sikh religion!so they are trolling not just the comments section of dawn,an indian in england told me they do with delight,he mentioned dawn by name, but even the twitter accounts of our celebrities as well! indians never accepted pakistan, the hindu man who shot gandhi dead said as much, but they try to continually bully their neighbours as well,it's just that with pakistan they get pushback!

Awesome stuff from Shaniera bhabi! I support her tweets and agree with them. I am amazed how little driving sense Pakistanis have. At least wear seatbelts!

Honestly, we need TV channels doing their bit to improve traffic sense and be safe for themselves and others! Instead of bickering presenters and guests, and BREAKING NEWS bursts, they should give intermittent 10 minutes to 'changing behavior;spots. And this should be continuous, not a one-time scheduling.

spot on mindset has to change. Don't wait for the government to anything because you'll be waiting for ever. As she says take the initiative yourself. Great nations are made of great people.

You may be surprised that only 2 % people listen, the rest talk. There will be some who will listen to the traffic problem, but man is evil by nature , only the implementation of law will work. Well this could be the first drop of rain.

It's a great cause indeed, which we have resigned to accept as it is. We need celebrities to champion this cause.

She is not saying anything that everyone doesn't already know. Pakistanis aren't stupid. She didn't actually think through the helmet remark though, not many people can afford even one helmet leave alone multiple ones.

Mrs Akram it is unfortunate that these same people you see daily breaking all kinds of driving laws are exemplary drivers when they are living in foreign countries specially West.

It is the mentality of south Asian to listen to white outsiders carefully. Think of if Wasim's previous wife would have commented like this what would be the response would have been from every one.

I support her 101% in her effort. It's silly to feed a child while driving. If you are not responsible enough then sit back at home and do whatever you have to do.

It will take an army to change the mindset of a few but then again an army starts with one person. Good going!! Must admire your persistence, Mrs. Akram.

Typical Western bride mentality when one marries someone in a third world country and starts educating on issues that "are not done in their developed countries" I have seen many British brides in Bahrain doing the same. Lets face it duda it is not going to happen this is Pakistan and not even Bahrain.

Excellent support and love from her and the use of her popularity to bring a notice to these deaf people. Wish others do the same as they have one of the most powerful tools they can work on...the media! however, with that said......Pakistani people dont need twittering...they need danda!
