Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari shared some weight-loss advice recently, and it isn’t what the internet has been speculating.

The former foreign minister is currently in the United States where he addressed a press conference at the UN Headquarters in New York on the recent regional developments after the military conflict with India.

Something quite a few people have noticed in his recent pictures and videos is that he’s visibly slimmer. So it was inevitable that in an informal chat with the media, he was asked the secret to his weight-loss success.

“Stop having roti and sugar, start exercising, start going to the gym,” he said. Internet sleuths had been speculating for a while that Ozempic, the weight-loss drug that many celebrities have turned to for quicker results, was behind his weight loss but it turns out he’s sticking to the good old fashioned way of shedding extra weight.

Of course, cutting out roti and sugar is easier said than done. So while we’re glad to hear he’s going down the healthy route for weight loss, it’s going to take a lot for us to give up our sugary coffees and rotis with lunch.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari got a great talent as he grows after tragic death of his mother, when he was just teenager and now I seen in him a great leadership in last five years, let’s wish this young man to be a great leader like his mother or grandfather (Nana).

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a fine example for people who are carrying heavy baggage with them. They should follow his advice and drop the"heavy baggage" once for all and just carry one bag. Better late than never.

Roti turns into glucose within 20 minutes after going down one's throat!

The point is not to cut out roti and sugar entirely. Because that's pretty much impossible unless you want to also cut out fruit and dry fruits which contain natural sugar. You simply cut down. Not cut out. You don't eat roti every day or for every meal, you don't use sugar on your tea, or use less than you used to. You don't sweets every day. So it's doable. The key is moderation.

Bilawal doesn't represent the average Pakistani. He's comes from a crime family. He's an unelected minister Nobody cares.

I was ofbthe view that I can quit anything but not roti. But when I did quit roti I found it's not difficult at all. It's a true saying : where there is a will, there is a way.

It's his politics that has struck at the roots of democracy not his weight.

@AW And after 90 days you will regain the weight when adding back roti and sugar, because the change can not be temporary. It has to be a lasting lifestyle change. Permanent. Healthy eating habits and moderation is for life. Otherwise weight gain and health issues like the epidemic diabetes, premature cardiac arrest issues etc in Pakistan will be consequences.

@Shazia You can quit anything. It take your brain and body to adjust. Typically 2-4 weeks. I know because I said the same about fizzy drinks.

@Reality lol your comment made me chuckle. Thanks. But seriously it's possible. However I would not recommend such a weight loss and so fast. Incremental and healthy weight loss is better. It takes longer time but more sustainable. Though you may be right and he had help like Ozempic. Again not something is recommend.
