#YouAintNoMuslimBruv – tweeters from London and beyond expressed their solidarity with Muslims with this hashtag after a knifing incident at Leytonstone Underground train station, where the attacker allegedly shouted 'This is for Syria' before stabbing and injuring three people.
The hashtag is derived from words shouted out by a passerby as the police Tasered and incapacitated the attacker.
“You ain’t no Muslim, bruv,” the man can be heard calling out to the attacker on YouTube videos of the arrest. “You’re no Muslim, bruv. You ain’t no Muslim.”
