Pakistan’s Got Talent, the newest addition to the slew of reality competition shows airing in the country, will be making its TV debut on July 4.

A newly released trailer for the show made the announcement on Sunday. The show will air every Saturday and Sunday on Geo Entertainment.

The judges for the show are actor Mehwish Hayat, comedian Tabish Hashmi, singer Ali Zafar and Usman Bashir of Shark Tank Pakistan.

Pixel Entertainment announced that it had signed a deal with global entertainment giant Fremantle to bring the world’s most successful reality show format, Got Talent, to the country for the very first time back in August.

The franchise, originally created by Simon Cowell and owned by Fremantle, has aired in more than 70 countries and even holds the Guinness World Record for the most successful reality TV format in history.

The show promises to be a wide-open platform, welcoming singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, acrobats, beatboxers and just about anyone who thinks they’ve got what it takes to wow an audience. Nationwide open auditions are set to kick off soon, giving performers from every corner of the country a shot at recognition. In February, a call was made for auditions for the show.

Pakistan’s Got Talent joins Rap Icon Pakistan, Masterchef Pakistan, Shark Tank Pakistan and Pakistan Idol as part of Pakistani entertainment’s push towards reality competition shows.
