‘No better sight in cricket’: X is cheering the return of King Babar Azam after his 20th ODI century

After over 800 days and 83 international innings, he's hit a century and cricket fans are over the moon.

Babar Azam is back, and he’s arrived with a bang — a 100-run bang. The cricketer made his 20th ODI century during a match against Sri Lanka, after over 800 days and 83 international innings.

He’s now on the list of quickest to 20th ODI century, right there after South Africa’s Hashim Amla and India’s Virat Kohli. He’s also equalled Saeed Anwar in the most centuries for Pakistan.

His fans were, understandably, over the moon, especially after the drought they’d suffered.

There’s no one like him out there.

Some fans never doubted him.

Even the hockey team was cheering him on!

They weren’t the only ones — musicians Asim Azhar, Talha Anjum and Maanu all celebrated the century.

Some people were more emotional than others…

But overall, people are just glad to have King Babar back!

Is this the start of his true comeback?

20th century after over 800 hundred days means time is running out for Babar Azam in cricket. I suggest say bye bye to T20 and ODI and focus on test matches for next two years and then finally retired from international cricket. Thanks for all your services for Pakistan.

I had heard of Dilip Kumar's Mughal-E-Azam but didn't realise that we have our own Babar-E-Azam who has come up in Cricket Internationally. I hope our Batsmen will follow his example and raise their standard to reputable level. Congratulations Babar.
