In a candid conversation that has fans buzzing, actor Sheheryar Munawar has addressed the rumours swirling about his potential marriage to a fellow actor.

During his appearance on the FWhy Podcast, hosted by Frieha Altaf, Munawar was asked whether there’s any truth to these claims. While he did not confirm or deny the speculation, he expressed his gratitude and requested prayers.

“What I will say is that Alhamdulillah I’m grateful. I’m very grateful. I’m happy. Allah has been kind, and the parents are very happy,” shared the Parey Hut Love star.

“Exciting times are ahead, and I would ask everyone to say a little prayer for us. I just feel, as I’ve mentioned before, that I want this to be a very personal experience for both of us… and private.”

Altaf acknowledged that being a public figure sometimes makes it impossible to be a private person. “Yes, you’re public property,” Munawar agreed. “Yes, there’s speculation, and judging, it becomes so crazy sometimes,” said Altaf.

Despite the scrutiny, Munawar shared that he understands the public’s fascination with celebrity lives. “What can they do? When they show us love, we’re happy. When they don’t, I have no complaints. This was the assignment I took on. If you understand the assignment, you realise that this [intrusion] comes with it. It’s a sacred thing; you get upset with those you love. People who don’t matter to you, you don’t bother with them.”

Altaf highlighted that people often place celebrities on a pedestal, forgetting that they are human beings too. Munawar, however, expressed his appreciation for the kindness he has received.

“I just feel that while we discuss bullying and trolling, we also need to acknowledge the love we get from those same people. My audience, at least, has been very kind, and I’m very grateful to them,” Munawar shared.

The actor provided no further details about his love interest or when these rumoured nuptials would take place. We suppose time will tell. In the meantime, this author will not speculate.
