February 14 — better known as Valentine’s Day — is coming up, but we think a Galentine’s celebration with your favourite gals is so much better than anything you can get up to with a significant other.

We compiled a list of five things you can do to celebrate Galentine’s with your bestie, because no bond is stronger than that of platonic soulmates.

Toni and Guy is offering a Galentine’s mani-pedi special for you and your bestie! You can treat yourselves to nail care and relaxation as you catch up with your friend.

4. Pizza and Pedicures at Ensemble Salon

While they’re not marketing it as Galentine’s, Ensemble Salon in Karachi is offering two pedicures, two drinks and a pizza from Xander’s. They are also offering mani-pedis and blowdries for you and your platonic soulmate.

This is available throughout February and appointments can be made through the number on their Instagram.

5. A night in

If you can’t get to these offers in time or your budget doesn’t allow a splurge, you can plan the perfect night in for you and all your best friends. The sky is the limit with this option — you can plan a fancy dinner with pink and red decor and your favourite food or you can go the opposite way and plan a pyjama party with your favourite rom-com movie and a large pizza.

Other ideas include: painting, cooking food together, making delicious mocktails or giving each other manicures. All you need are some friends you love.
