Ben Stokes or something else?: Shadab Khan cursing on the PSL pitch has Twitter in fits
Shadab Khan made an oopsie on field after he was bowled out in an Islamabad United versus Multan Sultans PSL game on Tuesday. As the bowler smashed the wicket, Khan turned around, squatted and let one rip — from his mouth. A very commonly uttered Punjabi curse that sounds a lot like Ben Stokes left his lips, directed at no one in particular and Pakistani Twitter is beyond amused.
It could have been Shaddy’s curse sprouting wings and leading team United to victory but it was Faheem Ashraf who was credited for the win. Conjuring up an innings to remember, he showed grit as his unbeaten 51 snatched an improbable win over Multan Sultans.
Maybe it was the tantrum-like reaction or the accidental slip but fans are enjoying this little mishap.
New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham commented under Shaddy’s Instagram post about the game asking why he shouted Ben Stokes when he got out, covering up the curse word very smoothly. Khan responded in good humour, saying he was missing Stokes at that moment.
Nothing more to it, fellas.
Love all around.

In the end what matters is that he is a great player.
And with that, our favs are all in.
