‘Terrorists have no conscience’: Saba Qamar, Shaheen Afridi, Adnan Siddiqui pray for Peshawar mosque blast victims
A blast inside a mosque in Peshawar’s Police Lines area claimed at least 28 lives and left 150 people injured on Monday. Celebrities across the country, such as actors Saba Qamar and Adnan Siddiqui, and cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi, are praying for the victims and sending their condolences to the families affected.
Peshawar Commissioner Riaz Mehsood confirmed the casualties, adding that a rescue operation was underway inside the mosque as a number of people were still stuck under the rubble. He told the media that the smell of explosives has been detected but it is too early to say anything substantial about the nature of the blast.
Siddiqui expressed the disgust he felt for the perpetrators who attacked innocent people at a place of worship.
Qamar added a heartbreak emoji and prayed for those left behind.
Afridi feels pained to see his country hurting and wants to put a stop to it.
Actor Ahmed Ali Butt welcomed his followers to an “old, SCARY Pakistan”.
Cricketer Mohammad Hafeez prayed for the deceased, their families and for peace.
Actor Faysal Quraishi prayed for safety and reminded people that the perpetrators will be punished in the hereafter.
Actor Arslan Naseer shared a simple heartbreak emoji hashtagged Peshawar.
