If you thought Pakistani TV shows are done for the year, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ramsha Khan and Talha Chahour are here to disabuse you of that notion. The actors are now going to share the screen together for Haseeb Hassan’s next project for GEO Entertainment.

Speaking to Images, Rasheed revealed that Jannat Say Agay is currently in its early stages, which is why not much can be revealed yet. He has, however, announced the show on Instagram with a fun clip of the cast and crew.

In his caption he revealed that the drama is being directed by Hassan, whom he has worked with in 2019’s telefilm Laal starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Kubra and 2016’s Mann Mayal with Hamza Ali Abbasi and Maya Ali. The drama is being written by Umera Ahmed who last wrote Sinf-e-Aahan and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay. It is being produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.

“I can’t reveal other things so soon because we’ve been instructed strictly not to. We will reveal gradually because we’re still shooting the project. Other than Jannat Say Agay, I’m also in Jindo starring Humaima Mallick, Hajra Yamin and Saleem Mairaj. There is also a film The Legend of Maula Jatt and the second being Money Back Guarantee,” Rasheed said.

He also revealed that the upcoming drama will mark the first time he and Kubra are sharing the screen. They’ve starred in several projects together but they’ve never actually had any screen time together. Rasheed added that after Ishqiya, this is his second drama with Ramsha.

Kubra and Ramsha are also sharing the screen for the second time as the two actors were last seen as Mahjabeen Mastaan and Pariwesh Jamal in Sinf-e-Aahan with Syra Yousuf, Sajal Aly, Yumna Zaidi, Yehali Tashiya Kalidasa and Dananeer Mobeen.
