Rest In Peace. While the gentleman passes away, he pioneered something that will go on. It’s remarkable in a country where ugly politics dominates every aspect of life. It’s people like respected Mr. Iftikhar that restore one’s faith in humanity.

Very sad! He hosted a wonderful tv show first time in Pakistan that not only gave to deaf and dumb power of expression a means of effective communication fluently interestingly through employing signs using hands and fingers only with out uttering or articulating a single word by tongue amazingly! The death of Mr. Ahmed really sadden and left in lurch thousand of his disciples who learnt to express their emotions , feelings in a befitting manner with utmost clarity! Hats off!

A larger than life person and family that has served the deaf community in Pakistan over their lifetime. From his mother who started Gung Mahal, to his daughter who continues to work on Pakistan Sign Language, Iftikhar Sahab was the focal person behind bringing attention to the community on the national television platform. May his work lie beyond his memory and continue to serve others ameen.
