'My enemies are after me': The real Leviev family has sued the Tinder Swindler

The real question is why the billionaire's family didn't sue him sooner.

The Tinder Swindler is being taken to court. Simon Leviev (birth name Shimon Hayut) is being sued by the family of billionaire and Israeli tycoon Lev Leviev who is known as the King of Diamonds. The Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler highlighted how Simon fraudulently claimed to be a member of the family.

Official documents obtained by E! News said the conman is being sued by the Leviev family. In the documentary, Simon identified himself as the only son of the diamond businessman and used the family photos and their luxury living to lure women into giving him money. He used those bank loans to impress other women and get more money, which he used for his luxurious lifestyle, including trips on a private jet, fine dining and designer clothes.

E! News spoke to the tycoon's daughter, Chagit Leviev, who told it that the Tinder Swindler is going to face a multi-million dollar lawsuit to "face justice and get the sentence he deserves".

"Shimon Hayut is a fraud who stole our family's identity and has tried to exploit our good name to con victims out of millions of dollars. He has no relation to the Leviev family and has no affiliation with our company LLD Diamonds. I am relieved that his real identity and actions have been globally exposed, and hopefully this will bring an end to his unscrupulous actions," said Chagit.

But while he's facing lawsuits and 'enemies', Simon has set his eyes on one thing — Hollywood. He signed a deal with the CEO of talent management company Gitoni, adult movie star-turned publicist Gina Rodriquez, to manage his venture into entertainment. This includes a podcast, book and a dating show.

The Netflix documentary released on Feb 2 and featured multiple interviews of women who fell prey to Simon's Ponzi scheme. The three victims that came forward in the documentary are Cecilie Schrøder Fjellhøy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte. According to them, Simon defrauded them out of $250,000, $33,000 and $139,000 respectively. They created a GoFundMe page to raise the £600,000 ($811,206) he stole from them and so far have been able to raise £171,104 ($229,668).

Ever since the documentary went live, the conman has been on and off on Instagram with multiple accounts that showed his luxurious life in Israel. Despite defrauding many women, the conman is currently dating Ukrainian model Kate Konlin.

This is how shallow, flashy, self-promoting con-artists sound and look like!
