Social media is abuzz with the news that PML-N scion Junaid Safdar and his wife Ayesha Saif Khan's remaining wedding festivities, following their glamorous nikah in London a few months earlier, will be held in Lahore. Media reports also have a date for the valima: December 17.

And while we can't speak as to which event will take place on what exact date, a source close to the family has told Images that the valima reception will indeed take place in Lahore in December.

Considering that the Sharif family home is in Raiwind, we're putting our money on the lush property being the venue. According to the source, there is a strong likelihood that the bride's rukhsati will take place in Islamabad.

Junaid is the son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar. Ayesha is the daughter of Saifur Rahman Khan, a close confidante of Nawaz Sharif, who was made chairman of the then Ehtesab Bureau during Nawaz's second tenure as prime minister in 1997.

They tied the knot in a nikah ceremony on August 22. The nikah was held at The Lanesborough, a swanky 5-star hotel on the Hyde Park Corner in Knightsbridge, London.

The wedding created quite a buzz on social media; pictures of the bride and groom as well as a video of Junaid singing a Mohammad Rafi song were widely shared by netizens.

The groom's parents did not attend the wedding in London. Maryam had announced that she would not request the government to allow her to travel to London for the ceremony. Former premier Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishaq Dar attended the wedding while Maryam and Safdar were on video call with their son from Lahore.

Looks like the internet can look forward to a fresh set of pictures and videos from the newlywed's wedding festivities in December. We don't know about you, but we're looking forward to the clothes the most (especially the mother of the groom's!).
