Cricket team captain Babar Azam is a man of many talents, one of which includes being very kind and considerate to the young fans who look up to him. He recently shared a reply to a letter he received from an eight-year-old fan who intends to be a future Pakistan cricket captain just like Azam.

Azam is smashing records and winning hearts all over the world these days. Case in point — his adorable response to an even more adorable handwritten letter shared by a fan on Twitter. "From a future captain to current captain, Babar Azam," wrote the Twitter user who shared the letter. "I hope Babar Azam sends this 8-year old all the signatures."

The young fan in question is a young Mohammad Haroon Suria. His letter details how very proud he is of the team and their performance during the World Cup. He also wrote about the rollercoaster of emotions he went through during — what we're assuming was — Pakistan's semi final against Australia. Here was a fan who felt excitement, nervousness and fear while watching the team play, and frankly everyone can relate to this.

Azam reshared the post on Twitter and responded to his young fan. "Dear Mohammad Haroon Suria, Salam, Thank you for such a kind letter for us, champion. I absolutely believe in you and you can achieve anything with your focus, belief, and hard work. You will get your autographs but I cant wait to get your autograph future Captain," he wrote,

Many of Azam's followers commented with a sense of pride and joy. Who wouldn't be proud of a captain like this?

This isn't the first time we've seen such the team being thoughtful of others. During the T20 World Cup Pakistan's playing eleven were lauded for the sportsmanship they showed towards other teams. We saw them laughing along with the Indian cricket team, visiting team Namibia's locker room in support after winning against them and sharing cake with team Scotland to celebrate Haris Rauf's birthday. As we fondly recall, many a cakes were cut and shared by the team to spread joy to the people around them during the tournament.

It seems like every day, members of the cricket team — especially Babar Azam — give us even more reasons to stan them.

My suggestion to Babar Azam is that Hasan Ali should be send to PCB cricket academy to learn how to catch and ball in pressure situation.

@Javaid Mr Javaid or whatever your name is rememebr, one of the best fielders in Indian side Virat Kohli has now dropped 8 catches in men's T20Is since the start of 2019. Are you going to send him to Academy. Have you seen the final how Australians dropped catches. In UAE when team is chasing score, dew makes ball very slippery. Every cricketer has drpped a catch in life. Use better eye glasses then comment.
