The red carpet at the Venice Film Festival has been serving us some gorgeous celebrity looks over the last couple of days and we've gathered a few of our favourites for your viewing pleasure.
The Venice Film Festival, the oldest film festival in the world that began in 1932, kicked off on September 1. While the festival was not postponed in 2020 — unlike Cannes — due to the pandemic, it was only this year that stars are returning to the festival in full force. The 11-day festival has so far witnessed the premiere of movies such as the Kristen Stewart starrer Spencer, The Lost Daughter and Dune.
Here are our top picks from the celebrity outfits that have been seen on the red carpet so far.
American actor Zendaya clearly enjoys breaking the internet with the looks she creates for the red carpet. Her custom Balmain dress is a favourite amongst netizens this time around as well. Paired with a gorgeous statement necklace, her look is absolutely stunning.
American actor Tiffany Haddish looked very elegant in Christian Siriano. Her short hair and minimal accessorising really uplifted the overall monochrome appeal.
Portuguese model and actor Sara Sampaio wore an all black gown from Armani Privé that we really liked.
British actor Helen Mirren has been winning the internet's praise with her glitzy Dolce and Gabbana outfit that she carried quite well.
Spencer star Kristen Stewart headlined in black Chanel shorts. The actor's overall look was prim and put together, yet edgy.
Hungarian model Barbara Palvin wore a sensual black dress by Armani Privé. We love the playful buns Palvin has tied her hair into to complement the dress.
Italian model Mariacarla Boscono stunned in a deep burgundy dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. The gorgeous emerald necklace and her slick ponytail add to the look's sensual 'old Hollywood' appeal.
American actor Dakota Johnson sparkled in Gucci at the premiere of The Lost Daughter, a welcome breather from the favoured black dress look that many celebrities opted for this year.
The film festival will continue till September 11 and we're sure to to witness more head turning looks on the red carpet till then. Which look was your personal favourite from the festival so far?
