British singer Dua Lipa slammed an ad published in the New York Times for labelling her anti-semitic for raising her voice in support of Palestine and protesting against the human rights violations being perpetrated by Israel.

Taking to social media, the New Rules singer denied being anti-semitic, saying she "utterly rejects the false and appalling allegations" that were published in the newspaper under the advertisement published by the World Values Network.

She wasn't the only one being slandered in the ad. The full-page advertisement also labelled Gigi and Bella Hadid as “mega influencers vilifying the Jewish state and accusing Israel of ethnic cleansing.”

The ad featured a picture of the three women along with the caption: "meet the new Hamas influencer brigades".

"This is the price you pay for defending Palestinian human rights against against an Israeli government whose actions in Palestine, both Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem accuse of persecution and discrimination," Lipa wrote.

"I take this stance because I believe that everyone — Jews, Muslims and Christians have the right to live in peace as equal citizens of a state they choose," she said, adding that the World Values Network was "shamelessly using my name to advance their ugly campaign with falsehoods and misrepresentation of who I am and what I stand for."

She then concluded her statement by expressing solidarity with the oppressed and rejecting all forms of racism. The 25-year-old is dating the Hadid's younger brother Anwar.

This is not the first time stars condemning Israel's actions have been blatantly attacked. Previously, Bella was targeted by the Israeli government for joining a pro-Palestine protest in New York.

Lipa and the Hadid sisters have been at the forefront of a small group of Western celebrities who haven't shied away from advocating for peace for Palestinian people. Their activism has been appreciated by millions of people across the globe who are protesting against Israeli oppression of Palestinian people.

Oldest trick in the American/Israeli playbook: Equate any stance against Israeli terrorism or Zionism as 'Anti-Semitism'.

If you support Palestine it is anti-semitic and if you support Israel it is not. Strange.

The fact that the big American Media houses are controlled by Jewish money is no secret....... so its not surprising if Dua Lipa is targeted for speaking the truth on the Palestinian oppression.

It's unfortunate that the 'anti-semitic card' is being thrown around to strangle legitimate any debate of apartheid-Israel's crimes against Palestinians. Palestinians don't have deep pockets - unlike Israel - to take out full-page adverts in the NYT.

What an irony that according to New York Times and its cronies, using freedom of speech, warranted and guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution in order to tell the truth, the real truth and nothing but the truth against brutal killings, shameless destruction and ruthless devastations carried-out by the Israeli armed forces in the Israeli-attacked, Israeli-invaded, Israeli-occupied, Israeli-held, Israeli-abused and Israeli-annexed hapless land and helpless of Palestine is tantamount to anti-Semitism.

The Hadids are billionaires, so it doesn't matter. It's Lipa whose career is now over.

Inconvenient truth: Palestinians are actually Semites, whereas most of Israel's population consists of sellers who were imported from Europe. Anti-Semitism, in its truest form, actually refers to the discrimination aimed at Palestinians, which most of the western world carries out quite cheerfully every day.
