Veteran singer and star Jawad Ahmad, who tested positive for Covid-19 during the first wave of the virus in in November 2020, has just revealed that he contracted the virus again.

Announcing the unfortunate news on social media, the Dosti star informed fans and followers that he had been infected for the second time and he was feeling quite hopeless.

Unlike previously where the star was asking people to take precautionary measures, this time he voiced visible frustration over finances and the society we live in.

"I contracted COVID again. Don't know if I’ll survive or not," Ahmad posted. "Yes, I’ve enough money for its treatment if it gets worse, but truth is that it is no more fun to just keep living in this world full of poverty, helplessness and deprivation."

He then added how "one needs to change it before going to heaven."

Fans were quick to send words of encouragement his way, asking Ahmad not to lose hope and promising their love and support.
