We approve of the five timeless classics on his list. But Tan made a hilarious revelation about himself: his childhood nickname Tanno was inspired by the horse in Sholay.
"My name is obviously Tan to my family. However, my name is actually Tanvir so most of my elders — my grandparents — actually call me Tanno. My nickname from childhood isn't Tan, but Tanno," he laughed.
He also clarified that calling himself Tan doesn't mean he's ashamed of being South Asian. That's the name his parents called him and the one that resonates with him.
