Done with Dirilis Ertugrul? Imran Khan has another Turkish drama for you

According to Faisal Javed Khan, the PM wants Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu to be aired in Pakistan next
Updated 20 Nov, 2020

Either you've binged all of Diriliş: Ertuğrul or you're watching it on PTV right now. Either way, Imran Khan has another recommendation for you.

According to Faisal Javed Khan, the PM has another show that he would like to be aired in Pakistan and that's Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu.

The senator shared, "Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic and a poor villager. Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to Allah and searching for unity.*

He describes the show as "a journey of transformation," and "yet another hit created by Mehmet Bozdag," who also wrote Diriliş: Ertuğrul.

"Yunus Emre was well-versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. Serial is a great example of a meticulous attention to detail work ."

Well, looks like we have our next show in line and we're wondering if PTV is taking on this drama to dub in Urdu as well.

Ertugrul is pure passion-meets-adrenaline. Nothing on Netflix comes close. Bye bye Money Heist.

It is pretty exciting to watch the dramas and learn a lot about the Muslim heritage and high moral standards. Local channels should also focus on promoting local cultures rather than brut loud aggression and music and masala films.

May be PM also wanna promote likes of Baba Farid and Bulleh Shah, they have a lot more connection to the people of Pakistan than their Turkish counterparts.

Imran Khan should spend more time in governing the country than watching the TV.

This one sounds fantastic. In the overly materialistic and self centered times we live in we're out of kilter with reality. We need spirituality.

Nope, Islam is not about sufism and warlords, its a practical religion which have topics from human evolution to laws of society.

I dont think he was poor as such. He started off as a high profile kadi (judge) and then gave up his job in favour of sufism.

where does he get so much spare time to watch 250 episodes.. I think these Netflix series are his primary source of knowledge, no wonder he says Germany and japan share a common border..

What is the fun to dramatise the nation by a PM? Br realistic and try live in your culture instead of imported one.

● Historic Dirilus Ertugal (died: c. 1280), who in the fear of the Mongols fled his country without fight, can not be a 'role model HERO'. ● 'Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu' TV serial (based on the 14th Century Anatolian Sufi poet who wrote in his Native Turkish Language) is a better choice by PM Imran Khan Niazi.

Its actually a really good show, drags on a bit at the end. People should watch the film Veda, on Ataturk
