With the coronavirus pandemic reaching a state of lockdown, people all over the world are extending virtual love in support of one another.

Pakistani celebrities are no less behind, as they too motivate their fans on Pakistan Resolution Day, towards making their own pledge to stay connected despite the disorder.

In a video featuring cricketer Mohammed Amir and actors Zahid Ahmed, Rehmat Ajmal, Hajra Yamin and Sana Javed, the artists in collaboration with Qmobile come together to pledge to extend empathy, strength and harbor communication despite being socially isolated and far away.

"Today is the day, when children, youngsters and elders are all in solidarity with one another", the video begins. "Difficulty has engrossed us all - how do we practice support, when distance is necessary?" the artists question.

"The distance cannot separate us, the distress cannot dishearten us," they continue in solidarity, as they pitch the ways one can preserve togetherness from afar.

In the age of digital communication, staying in touch with one another is just a simple call, text, or even meme away. With this, lets all try our best to lend support to our loved ones and friends who need it. Social distance, but bridge the distance.

Absolutely right to stay connected digitally - video, texts, phone etc. Beware of abuse of this freedom. Isolation is depressing enough.
