Ahsan Khan and Ayesha Omar are finally wrapping up their film Rehbara.

Touted to be a love story with a twist, we were told back in 2017 that the "film is almost done, 95% done".

However, it seems like they're shooting the remaining 5% now.

Talking to Images, Khan shared, "There's just a few patchwork shots left, a week's worth of shooting for the film and this one song. We were also having trouble finding dates in our schedules so Ayesha and I decided to sit down recently and just figure it out. According to the producers, it should release in 2020. It's a romantic film, not exactly a rom-com; there's some satire in the film but at the heart of it, it's a romance flick with a sweet soundtrack. My personal favourites are the title song and a ballad by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan."

In fact, the team went all over the country to shoot the songs, from Kund Malir and Gwadar to Kasur, Lahore and Karachi.

"Rehbara has been directed by Amin Iqbal and the producer is Saira, this woman from the US who came here especially to make a movie," added the Aangan actor.

Another romance love story. How many more films does the Pakistani film industry have to shove down the throat of Pakistani movie goers before we drown with the boring films that audiences are forced to bear? Are there no stories that don't involve boy meets girls chases her in foreign location sings stupid songs and show us countries we cannot visit and then some clowns over act and we are wasting the Pakistani film reputation as we are now the worst producing films in Asia !
