"There's going to be a major clash between Hina and Amar Khan's character and I'm the hero in between," said Agha.

Hina Altaf and Agha Ali are teaming up for an upcoming drama.

While the two actors couldn't reveal much about the drama, they still let Images know what to expect. Agha shared that he will be playing a character by the name of Danial while Hina is playing Zara.

"I'm playing this rich, sorted guy who's very elegant, very understanding, not an anti-hero at all. He's super charming and so I hope that people this time will see another me. Because in Bund Khirkian, that was an anti-hero so this time, I'm trying out a positive character."

Hina, known for her performance in Maryam Kese Jiye revealed that her character "is very complex".

"She is a mix of a very orthodox mindset but also belonging to the new generation of women wanting to be independent. In the drama, she makes sure that her self respect is never over shadowed by anyone, be it her family or the man she loves."

About the drama itself, Hina said, "The story is about class differences and fitting in. It shows the low self esteem of a person trying to understand a new environment they're in regarding this matter."

Agha added, "Basically it revolves around a higher class and how people act and react there and how they perceive girls from the other side of society... it's about that contradiction and there's going to be a major clash between Hina's character and Amar [Khan]'s character and I'm going to be the hero in between."

The drama, produced by Abdullah Qadwani and Asad Qureshi, is being directed by Shakeel Khan.

Agha revealed, "The working experience is fantastic. It was most probably my most calm experience working with Shakeel Khan... I think he's one of the best directors that we have here and what an amazing human being, I had a ball at the shoot and not because of anyone else but because of my director."

The drama will air around September 30 on Geo.
