Zara Noor Abbas rocked 6 hot summer trends during Parey Hut Love promotions
While movie releases are exciting, you know what we're always stoked for?
With every #OOTD being documented on Instagram, you bet we're talking about movie promotion style.
As promotions for Asim Raza's Parey Hut Love have been in full swing, one thing has become evident: Zara Noor Abbas has her perfectly manicured finger right on the pulse of what's hot in fashion.
Lucky for you, we did some trend-spotting and here's some of the hottest summer fads you can try now, inspired by the rising star herself:
Larger than life polka dots
Might seem childish but polka dots can be incredibly chic and are having their moment in the sun once again (as they do every couple of years); this summery monochrome dress, paired with soft glowy make-up hit all the right notes but we would've worn it with strappy heels instead of the hot pink boots.
It's all about minimal accessorising with this one, you don't want to look OTT.
Sari not sorry
Something about sentimental saris! Zara Noor wore one of her mom's old ones and we love it. In case you haven't noticed, casual saris have been doing the rounds on social media; Generation and Chapter 2 are even stocking some really nice cotton ones we've been eyeing for a while.
A quirky print and colour palette goes a long way; again, less is more.
Easy breezy kaftans
We love kaftans because they're comfortable (like wearing a nightgown!) and just a change from the usual kurta and trouser type Eastern wear.
We give this plum ensemble with subtle golden detailing a thumbs up.
Pretty in pink
Pink in all its hues and glory had made a comeback (then again, did it ever really leave) and Zara is totally channelling her inner Elle Woods in this boss lady outfit. It wasn't all work and no play though; she coupled it with cute rainbow earrings.
Flirty skirts
How do you wear a tulle skirt (or dress, or top) without skewing too ballerina, too bridal or too ’80s pop star? Well, like this. Pair it with a formal blouse or shirt like Zara or even a statement tee to keep it super laidback.
Solid colours
While the emerald green look works because of some structure and cinching at the waist, the cobalt blue number looks a little frumpy. Remember to break up solids with belts or add colour with accessories if it's not a form-fitting outfit.
