The Face App is trending and of course, our desi stars are up to date with trends!

Now that Bottle Cap challenge is done and dusted with, these guys are having some fun with the FaceApp challenge to discover how they would look years from now. Here are some of the results:

Why are our female celebs holding back? Though we already know the app won't work on Mahnoor Baloch.

However, just FYI: technology columnist, Geoffrey A. Fowler wrote for the Washington Post, after analysing the app and said, "Looking under the hood of FaceApp with the tools from my iPhone test, I found it sharing information about my phone with Facebook and Google AdMob, which probably help it place ads and check the performance of its ads.

The most unsettling part was how much data FaceApp was sending to its own servers, after which … who knows what happens. It’s not just your own face that FaceApp might gobble up — if you age friends or family members, their face gets uploaded, too."

So be careful ya'll, you never know how they're using your information!

all apps use your data, far less than fb insta and twitter though, there is a lot cry this time only because the app is developed by a russian company.

@ahmad not true. Many other apps are also Russian developed but are not critiqued.

What compromised? The moment you start using a smartphone, you practically hand over your digital footprint to these companies including Facebook, Instagram, twitter etc. We are so addicted to them that we blindly accept the terms and conditions. The hue and cry is just because the developer is a Russian Company.
